What does WCPC stand for?

Wound Certification Prep Course

What is WCPC?

WCPC is for any healthcare professional interested in preparing for their wound certification board examinations, becoming re-certified, or gaining a deeper understanding of wound care and wound management. Intended learners include: physicians (MD/DO), nurses (BSN, RN, LPN, NP), podiatrists, physical therapists, and industry professionals (medical/pharmaceutical sales reps).

How many credits does WCPC live and on-demand offer?

Each WCPC live meeting offers 17 hours of continuing education credit and the WCPC On-Demand course offers 15.25 hours of education credit for the interdisciplinary healthcare team (physicians, podiatrists, nurses, physical therapists, etc.).

What are the rates for WCPC?

WCPC offers the most reasonable registration package on the market. For the live events, the earlier you register, the more you save with a super saver rate of $825, early bird rate of $875 and regular rate of $925. For on-demand, 90-days access is $875 and 365-days access is $1,275.

Are there any discounts offered for WCPC?

Yes. WCPC offers a 15% discount for members of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC). Members can register online at the AAWC discounted rate here using their member ID: http://www.hmp-aawc.com.

We also offer group rates for 2 or more attendees from the same facility.

Military/VA can receive a discounted rate of $675.

Do students receive a discount?

Yes. WCPC offers a student rate of $425 for residents and fellows! Contact our sales team at (609) 630-6214 or jdougherty@naccme.com to get the discounted rate.

Is there any discount for attending both SAWC and WCPC?

Yes. WCPC offers $100 off for registered attendees of the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) meetings. Registrations must be for the same year you are attending SAWC and WCPC in order to qualify for the discount. What is the 2-day schedule for the prep course?

Who takes the CWCA® examination?

The ABWM requires 3 years of experience in the wound care industry. This doesn’t necessarily mean you need to be doing the procedures themselves. The 3 years is cumulative and can include residency or fellowship time experience as well.

We offer a convenient on-demand option for participants looking for a course they can take from the comfort of their homes, or anywhere. There are two on-demand packages available — $875 for 90 days of unlimited access, and $1275 for a whole year (365 days) of unlimited access.
